Bereavement

Losing a loved one can be devastating, confusing, and lonely.  Hospice care does not suddenly stop, but continues for the grief-stricken family for up to 13 months after the death of the patient.

Support may include regular communication from the Bereavement Support Team, one-on-one counseling, and referrals to support teams such as grief, spiritual, or financial.
